Termination of Volunteer Probation Officer Status

Chapter 3: Termination of Status and Removal of Volunteer Probation Officers

Section 10: A Volunteer Probation Officer shall serve a term of six years per appointment and may be reappointed. An evaluation of Volunteer Probation Officers shall be conducted every two years using the form prescribed by the Department of Probation. To pass the evaluation, the officer must demonstrate good behavior, Express willingness to continue serving as a Volunteer Probation Officer, and perform duties as assigned.

Section 11: The status of a Volunteer Probation Officer shall be terminated under any of the following circumstances:
